New Cars - Skoda reveals new Octavia vRS & Scout
Skoda has today released the first official images of its facelifted Octavia vRS and Octavia Scout.
Following the launch of the new Octavia late last year, the vRS and Scout have now also been updated to bring them into line with the current range and family face of Škoda.
The facelifted vRS has a redesigned front grille featuring the vRS logo and bold headlamps, which for the first time can be fitted with xenon headlights combined with the adaptive front lighting system.
The car has two more completely new features: front fog lamps with optional cornering function and LED lamps for daytime lighting. The rear lights have also been redesigned to look more attractive and new 18-inch Neptune alloy wheels are available.
Other changes to the vRS include a new metallic paint, Anthracite, and a lowered (now 127mm) sports-tuned chassis. The car is also lighter – the petrol version by 20kg and the diesel by 15kg. With reduced air resistance the maximum speed of the vRS is now higher and the car’s responsiveness and acceleration have also been improved.
The vRS is available with a choice of two powerplants, a 2.0-litre TFSI 150kW (petrol) or a 2.0-litre TDI 126kW (diesel) engine both of which are available with a six-speed manual twin-clutch DSG transmission.
The new Scout has a redesigned front grille, bold headlamps and body-coloured side mouldings. The front fog lights can be fitted with the optional cornering function and the large front bumper emphasises the car’s rugged appearance. A new metallic paint, Rosso Brunello, is also available across the Octavia range.
With 179mm ground clearance and efficient chassis protection, the Octavia Scout can also handle itself off-road. The all-wheel drive system features the fourth-generation Haldex clutch, which can transfer as much as 86 per cent of the torque to a single wheel.
The Scout is available with two engine choice, a 1.8-litre TSI 119kW (petrol) and 2.0-litre TDI 104kW (diesel) combined with a six-speed mechanical transmission.

Range and cost information of fuel cells (FC EXPO 2009)

New Car for family in 2020 from Hyundai
Remember how Hyundai bring new car concept to India. This new car concept was of small car and very soon every small family started to use and call it as family car. Santro was the first with such kind of tag.
Now again Hyundai and Nicolas Stone coming up with a new car concept and people will start again call it a family car. This car will not need any kind of fuel to generate the energy. Only water and sun will be enough to run this just like plant need. Exterior of this will have solar plate which will get the energy from sun.
The transparent solar cells that the car is equipped with generate electricity from ambient light, which is afterwards used to carry out electrolysis of water finally generating hydrogen, which fuels the car. The only by-product of the car engine will be clean potable water and breathable oxygen. Utilizing a new energy model, the vehicle uses the electricity to stimulate a central water tank, splitting the water into hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen gets stored in special reserve tanks, while the oxygen gets expelled into the air as exhaust. So, no emissions, since this cute little car functions exactly like a plant, being powered by an artificial system of photosynthesis.

A Car with a Caravan
Remember that car which was really bulky so that a caravan can be attached to this. Life with such car really easy, just pick the car and go anywhere and enjoy the life. But now time is changing and so this kind of car as well. Christian Susana bring a new kind of car named Colim (Colors of Life in Motion).
In old kind of Caravan other kind of car was attached to it but in this design whole caravan came with a car and you can easily detached that car for your home use or for office use as well.
The designer says : “The Colim concept - an acronym meaning ‘colors of life in motion’ - is an intelligent mobility concept which stretches primarily the bridge between caravans, camper, lifestyle and business. Dubbed a ‘lifestyle motor home’, the cockpit can be disconnected from the usable living space. The livable area is flexible, with individually applicable multi function modules. Designed for two people (max. four persons), the motor home offers the possibility to personalize its four mobile ‘walls’ according to the present life situation of the user. This flexibility is not only limited to the living area, but also features in the cockpit.”
