Opel divulga imagens de conceito sem nome

A Opel divulgou hoje as primeiras imagens de um novo conceito de um lugar, conhecido por enquanto de "Unnamed" (sem nome).

O carro tem velocidade máxima de 120 km/h e concorrerá com o Audi Urban Concept. O novo carro será mostrado dia 13 de setembro, no Salão de Frankfurt, onde todos os detalhes serão divulgados. Depois da apresentação, será mostrado a versão "Vauxhall" do [sem nome].

Versão esportiva ficará no mesmo chão de outro esportivo, o Astra OPC.

Carro virá com câmbio manual de 6 marchas..

A Opel/Vauxhall revelou imagens e informações do Astra GTC, que terá estreia oficial no Salão de Frankfurt, em setembro.

O hatch de três portas virá com quatro tipos de motorização: duas variantes 1.4 turbo, com 120 cv a 140 cv de potência, ambas com 20 mkgf de torque, além de uma 1.6 turbo de 175 cv e uma 2.0 diesel de 165 cv e 38 mkgf de torque. Todas virão acopladas a uma caixa de câmbio manual com seis marchas.

A nova versão, baseada na geração mais atual do hatch europeu, foi rebaixada em 15 cm e o entre-eixos foi aumentado em 10 cm, que agora tem 2,60 metros. O visual é esportivo, com destaque para as linhas e vincos agressivos, além de recortes na carroceria, que passam a impressão de um carro musculoso.

O futuro proprietário, que já pode encomendar seu Astra GTC, ainda pode escolher entre sete opções de roda, que variam de 17 a 20 polegadas.

O Astra GTC tem preços entre £ 21.750 na versão 1.4 com 120 cv e £ 27.855 euros com motor 2.0 a diesel.

Guerra dos Clones: É Vectra, é Astra...

Vectra Sedan, também da GM, mas não é Astra.

Depois do Logan continental, a confusão de hoje é da Chevrolet, também da Opel, também da Vauxhall e também da Holden. O Vectra é comercializado pela Chevrolet desde 1993. Já passou por várias reestilizações e hoje já está na 3ª geração. O da Opel, desde 1988 e parou em 2008, na 3ª geração, quando foi substituído pelo Opel Insignia. O mesmo aconteceu com os Holden e Vauxhall Vectra. Mas o nosso atual Vectra, não é chamado de Vectra pelas outras marcas, e sim de Astra.

O Astra da Vauxhall circula desde 2004.

Já o sedan saiu de linha em 2009.

No caso de Vauxhall, Holden e Opel, o nosso atual Vectra é conhecido como Astra. O nosso Astra está atrasado, e certamente vai ser substituído pelo Cobalt. O vectra, parece que vai sair de linha aqui também, com a chegada do Cruze. O Cruze vem nas carrocerias hatch e sedã, e caberá direitinho no lugar da família Vectra.

Quem diria, Vectra, digo, Astra em versão perua.

Existe também o Astra Caravan. A versão perua, apesar de bonita, representava 0,7 % das vendas da Opel na Alemanha. Existe também a Astra Caravan inglesa, no caso da Vauxhall. Na foto abaixo, você vê a falecida família Vectra alemã.

Vauxhall Insignia

The Opel Insignia is a large family car engineered and produced by Opel, the German subsidiary of General Motors (GM) since 2008, replacing the Opel Vectra. The Insignia offers 30 millimeters (1.2 in) more knee room than the Vectra. Both body variants have identical 4,830 millimeters (190.2 in) length and share the same wheelbase of 2,737 millimeters (107.8 in).

Vauxhall Vectra

The Opel Vectra is a large family car that was engineered and produced by Opel, the German subsidiary of General Motors (GM). Corsa VXR Arctic is less an example of hair being let down and more one of it being coiffured into a bright green Mohican. The standard Corsa VXR has 189bhp which is considered plenty by most right thinking people. The VXR Arctic has a Remus exhaust system developed by Triple Eight Engineering, the people responsible for Vauxhall's entries in the British Touring Car Championship.
